

Seu Lin (aka Linda) Wong of Calgary passed away after a brief illness on December 27, 2020, at the age of 94 years. Linda will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her 4 sons, Danny (Kelly), Donald (Jacky), Dale, and David (Liza) and a daughter, Eva Chalmers (Wong), 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Linda was predeceased by her brother, Willman Louie, daughter, Elaine and grandson, Bruce. Linda was born on September 30, 1926 in Toi Shan, China; she came to Canada in 1958. She and Sunny owned and operated the Oxbow Cafe in Saskatchewan for 20 years. Linda moved to Calgary in 1976 where she worked several years as a staff cook at the Calgary Westin Hotel---she retired from there in her 60's. Linda was a dedicated mother, and a strong, independent woman who loved her family, friends and church.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation towards the staff at the Foothills Hospital for taking great care of Linda and their kindness. The family would also like to thank Reverend Dr. John W.S. Kong of the Calgary Chinese Christian Blessed Harvest Church for his kindness, time and support.
