Shi Chang Lin passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife, Feng Luan Chen, his son, Jian (Dicky) Lin, daughter-in-law, Lily Trinh, his very beloved grandson, Nicholas Lin and his diamond granddaughter, Mia Lin on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the age of 76 years.
Ye Ye (Grandpa) was an extremely generous man. He gave at any opportunity he could, even if it meant it was the shirt off his back. And it didn’t matter if you were his family, friends, co-worker or even just a stranger.
He was quiet and a man of few words unless he enjoyed having a drink with you. During these last few years, Ye Ye enjoyed gardening during the spring and summer season. He filled our front yard flower beds with beautiful, vibrant small plants. He said this past spring, planting these flowers makes our home look beautiful and everyone can enjoy beauty together.
His pride and joy was his grandson and granddaughter. He would give them the stars in the skies if that is what they wanted.
Although we will miss his presence in our lives, but his love and spirit will forever live in our hearts.
