Janet,  I am sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad.  Losing a father has to be one of hardest things you will have to face in your lifetime.  I know that your strength will help you through.  No matter the distance or time, I am there for you.

Janet,My sincere condolences to you and your family in these difficult times. I first met Stan when we attended 4th year at SAIT together. Our paths crossed a few years later we worked together at the CPS. I will remember him as a kind and gentle person, we will all miss him.

I remember warm friendly eyes, so tall, and all knowing
A head always nodding, understanding, care showing
I remember summertime fresh flowers, and sweet carrots growing
And the smell of fresh green grass that always needed mowing
I remember how your hands circled as you talked 
And how each footstep had a purpose before you would walk
I remember the depth and soft sound of your voice 
And the warm plaid shirts snug and comforting by choice 
I remember Mr. Jiggs, your loyal best friend,
Black and white, straight forward, full of trust to the end
And the little boy smile with curiosity to spare, all wide eyed and anxious
Airplane and helicopter parts strewn in the basement everywhere
And if by chance one day small metal parts fall down from the sky, 
I'll know it's you up there still trying to get that darned thing to fly!

Joan and Family:  As a young man I worked alongside Stan at the Calgary Police Service garage.  Over time Stan taught me a lot of things.  I really enjoyed coming over to your house and talking with Stan over a cold beer after he retired.  We are very saddened to hear of Stans' passing and wish to express our sincere condolences to you and your family.

It is with sadness to read of Stan's passing. Him and my father go back a long way from working with the Calgary Police in their garage to duck hunting with Bob and myself and community activities.
Even in dad's diminishing state he will remember the good times spent with Stan.

I am one of the wednesday boat group,and enjoyed meeting with Stan especially when he brought his fast police boat,this spring I was hoping to show him my new speed boat and perhaps beat him!!! I will miss him.
