Sylvia passed away in Calgary, AB on Thursday August 27, 2015 at the age of 71 years. She is survived by her brother Wayne (Stefa) Fassina and nephews Neil (Krista) Fassina and Mark (Liana) Fassina. Born and raised in Montreal QC., Sylvia later moved to Thunder Bay, ON., and eventually settled in Calgary, AB. She retired from her Banking career in 2003. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday September 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, 215 – 12 Ave. S.E. Calgary, AB T2G 1A2.
