Born in Dumfries, Scotland, Bill immigrated to Canada with his young family in 1957. After working in the Alberta Forest Service for 29 years he enjoyed much of his retirement RVing and doing crafts. Bill was predeceased by son Brian, daughter Elaine (Jansen) and loving wife Beryl. He will be sadly missed by his family and those that were able to get to know him.
An informal service will be held at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial donations can be made to Hospice Calgary, 1245 - 70 Avenue S.E., Calgary, AB T2H 2X8. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
