William Joseph Tipper was born on March 1, 1919 in Brixham, South Devon, England. He passed away at the Bethany Care Centre on Monday, April 23, 2012 at the age of 93 years. William is survived by his daughter Stephanie (Alain) Lajoie of Beiseker, AB; son Patrick Tipper of Medicine Hat, AB; grandchildren Stevan Korobanik, Tracy Korobanik, Tammi (Cody) Sieben, Wanda (Ron) Robock and Trevor Tipper; great grandchildren Julie, Tella, Keyvan, Madison, Tate and Xander and 4 great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of sixty-four years, Audrey in 2003 and his grandson Terry Korobanik in 1991. William served in the British Army in World War II and worked as a mechanic in England. He immigrated to Canada in 1956 and made Alberta his home and pursued a career as a mechanic and worked for Canadian Freightways for many years. Travel was his passion, covering Canada, USA and England. William requested no formal Funeral Service.
