

Our beloved Yuk King Leung passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in Calgary, AB. She was born in Hoi Ping, China on June 13, 1920. She then migrated to Hong Kong and eventually settled in Canada in 1979. Yuk King loved spending time with her extensive family, and enjoyed socializing and knitting with fellow seniors in the Chinese community. She is survived by her three sons: Leung Yun Choi (So King), George Leon (Mary), Kung Choi Leon (Irene); and nine grandchildren: Thompson, Alice (Jonathan Lang), Rose (Will Smith), Lolita, Maggie, Leo, Edmond (Tien), Ernest (Connie), and Danny (Annie); and seven great grandchildren: Matthew, Dana, Liam, Andrew, Justine, Madeline and Elliott. She was predeceased by her husband Chit Wing Leung, parents and siblings. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at visitation held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
