Yvonne Walker

She will be fondly remembered by her daughters, Terry Bissett (Gilles Van Elslande) and Diane Sibbald (Stan), her grandchildren Tara Bissett, Shawn Sibbald (Jane), Tamara Sibbald, Kristin Sibbald, and her great-grandchildren Shanae, Isiah, Vanessa, and Jorja. Yvonne is predeceased by her husband Duncan Stewart Walker, her grandson Paul Bissett and Charlie Salmon.

We already miss Nana's wicked, wicked sense of humour, her sense of fairness, her tremendous integrity and independence, and her subtle displays of deep kindness. Anyone who knew Yvonne will remember her passionate opinions, her extremely well-informed interest in politics, and her love of travel. Yvonne valued her family above all else. We miss her.

A casual drop-in celebration of Yvonne's life will take place at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Friday, January 2nd between 1:00 and 3:00 pm.
