Alfred George Fach

Predeceased by his parents Arnold and Cecille, Alfred is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Ruth and his children; Krista Sharma (Dion), Andrew Fach (Laura), Bradley Fach (Nathalie), Lindsey Brown, Joshua Fach (Angie), predeceased by infant daughter Melissa. Precious memories of Papa are left with his grandchildren; Justine, Ethan, Jack, Ava, Livia, Noah, Ella, Darwin and Dax. Survived by his sister Linda Fach and his brother Brian Fach. Predeceased by his mother and father-in-law Bill and Irene Geier, Alfred is lovingly remembered by his in-laws; Paul (Joanne), Marilyn (Ted), Colleen (Dave), Mark (Audrey) and Tim (the late Jean).

As a young man, Alfred began with a single machine and a dream. From those modest beginnings, he founded Alfred Fach Excavating Ltd., building his company through years of hard work, integrity, and dedication. When the time came to retire, Alfred and his beloved wife Ruth settled at their cottage in Allenford, Ontario, where they created countless cherished memories together. He found peace and joy in the outdoors—exploring trails on his quad, cruising the lake on his pontoon boat, or visiting with friends and neighbours in the garage. Alfred will be remembered for his generosity, his laughter, and the love he shared with his family and community.

Private cremation has taken place. Friends and loved ones are invited to join Alfred’s family in remembering him. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, November 16th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cambridge Hotel and Conference Centre (The Venue).
