 My parents (Ann and Doug Snyder) let me know of your mom's passing. So very sorry.  Please accept my condolences. I love the chosen photo, it is much how I remember her!  She was always active in church when I was a child and I remember her teaching Sunday School, helping at various functions etc.  Always had a smile and kind words. I have seen her a few times over the years since then and she always remembered who I was.   Praying for you all.

I was so very sad to hear of Barbara's passing.  She was a wonderful person, so kind and gentle. I always enjoyed our long distance telephone conversations, in many cases for two hours. I will always remember when I first began working in the Department of Education (Barbara was working for
Don Wetmore in the Drama Section) she took me under her wings and looked out for me as if I was her very own sister.  We became instant friends and for all you've done and just for being you, Barbara, I will never forget you!

So many wonderful memories of Barbara.  Whether it was the long distance relationship by phone, or the visits we both shared in  NS and Ontario , we will  never forget  and always cherish the special times we shared.  Also will  always remember the vacations that we took together.  God bless you all.

Barbara was my life-long friend who focused on the good in every situation.  I will miss our 'long' telephone conversations covering a wide range of topics.  Memories of our 'together occasions' are tucked in my heart.  Sincere sympathy to all Barbara's family from Max and me.

How I wish I could be with you right now.  I will certainly miss my telephone calls every day or two with "My Sister",  We were together one way or the other since she was three months and I was a day old when your Grandmother brought her down to see me.  My love to you all.

My condolences to all of Barb's family. She was a wonderful woman, always so positive and a delight to talk to. My mother Audrey Reid would strongly agree . . . . they were friends for many, many years and spent hours on the telephone sharing details of their families and daily lives. She will miss her more than words can say.
