Dorothy Van Norman passed away peacefully on Monday, April 17, 2017 in her 100th year. Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd (1980). She will be fondly remembered by her children Ronald (Barb) Van Norman, Barbara Slotegraaf (John, 2011), James (Shannon), 8 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Dorothy was very family-oriented. She enjoyed knitting beautiful sweaters and baking tasty treats for her family. Her travels to Florida and England always held a special place in her heart. If you asked Dorothy how life was going, she would say that she had a good life, and couldn’t complain. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Sick Kids Foundation.
