Edna VanSickle

Passed away peacefully at St. Luke’s Place, Cambridge, on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Predeceased by her beloved husband Grant Van Sickle in 2011, as well as her parents, three brothers, two sisters, and one granddaughter, Rachel. She will be fondly remembered by her children: Donna (Derek), Jane (Brian), Peter (Bev), Cathy (Darcy), and Brian (Margaret Ann). She was a loving Grandma to 17 grandchildren: David (Lesley), Leif (Amanda), Russ (Kyla), Ange (Andy), Mark, Becca (Mike), Steven (Jaime), Trevor (Shea), Christine (Karl), Tim, Joe, Jay (Jill), Chris (Hayley), Jenn, Laura (Matt), Michael, and Matthew, and 24 great-grandchildren. Edna is also survived by her brothers Harold (Judy) Ernewein and Bud (Doris) Ernewein. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the kind, compassionate, and caring staff of St. Luke’s Place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement’s R.C. Church (745 Duke St., Cambridge, ON). Donations in Edna’s memory may be directed to St. Luke’s Place or The Alzheimer’s Society.
