Gary Wayne Whittington

Dearly Loved Husband of 57 Years to Angeline. Gary will be forever loved by his two daughters, Stacey Ortwein (Ron) and Lori Guté. (Geoff). Gary is also the loving grandfather of four, Reid and Catelyn Ortwein and Cassidy and Gracie Guté. He also leaves behind his brothers-in-law, Al Falsetto (Wanda), Norm Jones and sisters-in-laws, Carol Hutton (Jack), Teresa Jones (Pete), Catherine Crane (Paul), Alma Falsetto of Sault Ste. Marie, and Sheila Whittington of Woodstock. Gary was predeceased by his parents, Marg and Sonny, his parents-in-law Al and Ellen Falsetto, his two brothers, Keith and Ken, sister-in-law, Pauline, and brother-in-law, John Falsetto.

Gary retired from Rockwell, formerly Allen Bradley, after 38 years of service. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially a good game of euchre and scratching tickets.

Relatives and friends will be received on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Clements Parish, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge.

We would like to thank the care coordinators from Ontario Health Care, all the nurses and PSWs, as well as Palliative Care Associates for all their support. Also, a huge thank you to the team at Lisaard House for the great care and compassion Gary received.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in Gary's memory to the Lisaard House would be gratefully appreciated.
