Gerald Mortimer was called home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus, at the age of 62. He was born in St. John, New Brunswick on November 22, 1952. He was a quiet man that loved to work with cars, watch hockey, and spend time with his family and friends. Gerald was a loyal member of the Salvation Army Church for over 35 years. He will be dearly missed by his mother Mabel Mortimer, brother Arthur Mortimer (Phyllis), sisters Irene Bertin and Dorothy Wong (Mento), two uncles, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Gerald was predeceased by his father John Mortimer and his brother Robert Mortimer. Gerald’s family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Ontario from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the Barthel Funeral Home chapel.
