Harry "Dennis" Pfeiffer

With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce that Dennis Pfeiffer, age 78, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017. Dennis was a private, humble, and outdoorsy man who will be remembered for his intense love of nature. He was an award-winning trapper and a skilled hunter and fisherman. He had a strong interest in native arts and crafts, and created some of the most beautiful walking sticks and dream catchers. He was also known to enjoy a good pow-wow. Dennis was a member of the Preston Legion Branch 126, where he enjoyed many successful games of snooker and pool. Dennis will be forever loved by his wife of 40 years, Eleanor Martin. He will be dearly missed by his daughter Julie Ballah (Ken), former wife Marjorie Cuthbertson, son Matthew Solonik, sister Gloria DeBoer, children Corrie Martin (Donna) and Chris Kelly, grandson Kyle Martin (Sarah) who was his “best bud,” granddaughter Jayme Martin, and great-grandchildren Clyde, Kane, and Cayden. Dennis was predeceased by his siblings Bobby, Eleanor, and Jimmy. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
