Irene Patricia Geier

Beloved wife of the late William Geier (2011). Loving mother of Marilyn and Ted Barker, Paul and Jo-Anne Geier, Ruth and Alfred Fach, Colleen and Dave Cooper, Mark and Audrey Geier. Dearly loved Grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Survived by son-in-law Tim (Marlene) Cross, brother Gerard (Kate) Rundstedler and sister-in-law Eileen Hnatejko. Predeceased by parents Anthony and Rachel (Straus) Runstedler, daughter Jean Cross (2009), granddaughter Melissa Fach, five sisters and three brothers.

The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Ontario N3H 3J8 (519)653-3251 on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with vigil prayers at 2:15 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge, Ontario N3H 3T7 on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Hearing Society, Right to Life or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
