After a courageous battle with cancer and his family by his side, Heinz flew on the wings of a dove to be with his loved ones and Heavenly Father on February 6, 2013 in his 75th year. Father to; Mike (Terri), Keith (Pat), Archie (Kathy), and Paul (Debbie). Grandfather to; Geoffery (Samantha), Michael Jr., Tayllore, Kolton, Nowah, Amanda, Nathan, Ashley, April, Whitney, Lea, and Devin and Great-Grandfather to Lily, Logan, Emily, and Jade.
Predeceased by his parents, two sisters in Germany, and one brother here in Canada.
Heinz came from Käiserslautern, Germany in 1957 at the age of 19. He worked for 47 years at Laidlaw Waste-Waste Management.
The family will receive friends at the BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, 519-653-3251 on Saturday, February 9th from 2-4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
