Shamus was an avid outdoorsman who was always seen on a trail. He was known to have quite the green thumb as well. He strived to not allow his disability to ever stop him. Shamus spend 29 of his 49 years beside his best friend and soul mate Jenn. He devoted his life to being a very involved stay-at-home Dad and loved his family beyond words. Shamus will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his wife Jennifer Lockman, sons Brandon and Michael (Ashley), daughter Kaitlyn (Austin), adopted siblings Jamie Taylor, Tim Taylor (Darci), Michele Sommer-Hamer, his biological sister Kerry Mullin, mothers Margaret Rainey (Andy) and Kim Dewartz, father-in-law Al Lockman (Char), and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Shamus was predeceased by his father Pat Mullin, adopted parents Barb and Rod Maceachern, and his fur babies Tyson, Moose, and Bounty. Cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
