Beloved wife of James for 57 years. Dear mother of Christine (Paul) and Michelle (John). Cherished grandmother of Steven and Jonathan. Predeceased by parents, Russell and Doris Dyment, siblings Charles, David, Georgie, Katherine, and brother-in-law Preston. Survived by Aunt Susie, siblings James (Anna-Jean), Dorothy, brother-in-law Wilson and many nieces and nephews.
Shirley enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch and was very talented in these crafts. She was our little firecracker and was very proud of her life and family.
Thank you to the entire group of people medical and non-medical that assisted throughout this short, but very difficult time. A heart felt hug to Celine, Cindy, Erin, Benedetta, and Leanne. We would not have made it through this without you.
To honor both Shirley and Jim’s wishes a joint cremation with a private family service and internment at Parklawn cemetery (750 Fountain Street N, Cambridge, ON) took place September 27, 2024. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
