Stella Sofi Reich (Kozakowski)

With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce that Stella Sofi Reich passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the age of 77. Stella was a kind, loving, and generous person who always thought of others before herself. She loved to travel, garden, shop, and spend time with her family and friends. Stella was a long-time member of the Polish Ladies Circle in Cambridge, Group #627. She was predeceased by her first husband Edward Kozakowski, parents Czeslaw and Aniela Klos, and her sisters Irena and Janina. Stella will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Reginald Reich, daughter Yolanda Britnell (Tim), son Mark Kozakowski (Lisa), sister Felicja, and her brothers Jozef and Richard (Christine). Cherished Babi to Ally and Tori. Beloved Nana to Evan, Jason, Tyler, Scott, Andrew, Katie, Liam, Teaque, Eamon, and Cael. Loving step-mother to Kevin (Arlene), Kim (Dave), Lorri (Dan). Adored by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Friends and relatives are invited to a Visitation on Wednesday, August 16th at Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Road, Cambridge) from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 17th at St. Clement’s Church (745 Duke St., Cambridge) at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Cambridge Polish Club (265 Avenue Rd., Cambridge). The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Dr. Chouinard, Dr. Halligan, Dr. Hahn, and the nurses on the 3rd and 5th floors at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, and the C.C.A.C. Team for the care and compassion they showed to Stella.
