Passed away suddenly at his residence on Friday, April 27, 2012 at the age of 85. Reunited with his loving wife Veronica “Ronnie” (June 2011). Loving father of James Doanldson (Shauna) of Cambridge, Glen Donaldson of Cambridge, Gary Donaldson of Cambridge, Cathy Boyd of Kitchener (and her late husband Jeff Boyd), Jane Johnston (Cal Johnston) of Cambridge and Margaret “Pixie” Babineau (Derek Matthews) of Cambridge. Fondly remembered by his brother and sister Jack and Mary. Dear grandpa Pud to nine grandchildren and to two great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother and sister James and Jean. Pud was a life time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #126 Preston. Friends are invited to THE BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME, 566 Queenston Road; Cambridge (519-653-3251) on Tuesday May 1, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral mass will be held at St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church, 745 Duke Street; Cambridge on Wednesday May 2, 2012 at 10 am. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
