Thomas Donald Rooke

Passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Cambridge (Preston), Ontario on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Barbara. Loving father of Kristina Williams (Jason), Katrina O’Brien (Billy). Beloved “Gramps” to Khloe and Kayleigh. Survived by his mother Margaret Rooke and brother Richard Rooke (Tracy) and their children Zachary and Rebecca. Predeceased by his father Robert Rooke (2013). The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Ontario N3H 3J8 (519)653-3251 on Monday August 3, 2015 from 6 – 9 pm. A Celebration of Tom’s life will be held on Tuesday August 4, 2015 at 1 pm from Trillium United Church, 450 King Street East, Cambridge N3H 3M9. Visitation will be held at the church from 11 am until time of service. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery, 750 Fountain Street, Cambridge. The Celebration of Tom’s life will continue at the Unifor Local 1524 Hall, 600 Wabanaki Drive, Kitchener, Ontario. Maps available at the Funeral Home and Church.
