Beloved husband of 60 years to Pauline Ethel (nee Whitelaw). Dear father of Chris Stortz (Suzanne) and Judi Jessome (John). Precious memories are left with his grandson Corey Gmelin. Remembered by his sister Mary Renner (the late Jim) and his brother Orvall Stortz (Laura), and is predeceased by his parents Austin and Eileen Stortz (nee McKeown) and his brothers Ambrose (Theresa) and Joseph Stortz. Survived by his sister-in-law Beryl Stortz
Mr. Stortz was born in Arthur Twp., Wellington County (Mount Forest) and had been a resident of Cambridge since 1958. He was a member of St. Clement’s R.C. Church and was retired from the City of Cambridge (Parks and Horticulture Dept.)
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement’s R.C. Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge on Friday, July 11th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place, private inurnment will be at Parklawn Cemetery.
