Born August 15, 1954, in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Wanda passed away peacefully at home in Cambridge on June 17, 2025, with her family by her side until her final moments.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Lisa and Kimberly (Angelo); grandchildren Jay (Joelle), Samantha (Julio), Sadie, Logan, and Colton; and great-grandchildren Aliyah, Tatum, Liliana, Noah, and Evan. Wanda also leaves behind her devoted sisters Darlene (John), Pamela, her sister Paulette (John), her cherished partner Tim, and many treasured friends whose lives she touched deeply.
Welcoming her into eternity with open arms are her beloved son Todd, her parents Sam and Isabel, her brother Hughie, and in-laws George and Annabelle.
Wanda was a woman of deep generosity, kindness, and unwavering love. She dedicated 35 years of service to Purolator Courier, all while selflessly raising her children and grandchildren. If she wasn’t lending a helping hand—which she nearly always was—you might find her at the bingo hall, where she shared laughter, stories, and a sense of community with countless others.
A cremation will take place, with a celebration of her incredible life to be announced at a later date.
"She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings."
In lieu of flowers or donations, we ask that you honor Wanda’s legacy by performing an act of kindness for someone in need—just as she so often did, for both those she loved and those she had just met.
