André was born on July 31st, 1956 in Dalhousie, NB to (the late) Francis Matte and (the late) Yvette (Bourgoin) Matte.
He is survived by his children Serge (Josée) Matte and Andréa (Joel) Levesque. He is also survived by his granddaughters Chloé, Alexa and Olivia, his brothers Robert, Raoul, Ronald, Donald, his sisters Colette, Ruby, Aline, Gilberte, Annette, Germaine, Louise and many nieces and nephews. Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Alphée and his sisters Thérese, Anita and Gisele.
A Funeral Mass for André will be held at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church in Dalhousie on Wednesday June 28th at 1:30 PM.
