Born in Dawsonville, NB on October 21, 1934, daughter of the late Beulah J.M. (Noble) Cooling and of the late Charles A. Cooling.
She is survived by her six children Brenda (Scott) Smith, Donna (Brian) Thompson, Marilyn (late Denzil) Willerton, Patricia (Robert) MacKinnon, Deanna Morrison & Keith Morrison; her eight grandchildren Marsha Smith, Timothy (Jennifer) Smith, Amanda (Clinton) Smith Boudreau, Troy (Amanda) Thompson, Stacey Pellerin, Tara (Gerry) MacKinnon Russell, Stephanie (Kyle) MacKinnon Kneabone, Emma MacKinnon (Chris Chandler); her sixteen great-grandchildren Courtney, Marc, Kaden & Julianna Smith, Logan & Evan Boudreau, Kacee & Merek Thompson, Seth Pellerin, Eva, Isabelle, Abigail & Robbie Russell, John Kneabone, and William & George Chandler; her brother Allen (late Margaret) Cooling, numerous nieces and nephews, and cherished caregiver for many years Alice Mitchell.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Ernest, Charles D., Grace (Burpee Murray), Beulah (Raymond Firth), Jack (Norma), Ada (Thomas Graham) and Duncan (Ruth).
Arlene will always be remembered by her beautiful quilts, her love for her family, and her steadfast faith. She enjoyed a good game of cards and completing picture puzzles.
A Funeral Service will be held at Maher's Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St., Campbellton on Monday, November 28, at 11:00 am.
Visitations will be held at Maher’s Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne St., Campbellton, on Sunday November 27th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and on Monday at the Chapel from 10:00 am until time of service.
For those who wish, donations can be made to the Dawsonville Cemetery or to the Glen Levit United Church in her memory.
