Corinne Doucet

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Friday August 23, 2013 at 86 years of age, Mrs. Corinne Comeau, wife of the late William (Willie) Doucet. Born in Campbellton on August 29, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Frederick Comeau and the late Isabel Brazeau. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as the assistant postmaster at the Atholville Post Office for many years.

She is survived by her children Judith (George Thibodeau), Jimmy (Michelle), Charles (Berthe Melanson), Thomas, Monique Michaud, Fred (Jacqueline) and Bertha (Gary Martell). Also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren Marc-André, Mathieu, Pierre, Phillippe, Julie, Jeffrey, Laura, Sara, Trevor, Michelle, Christine, Helene, Bradley, Marc Alexandre, Gabrielle, Audrey, Joe, and Andrew.

Visitation at Maher’s Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne Street Campbellton, Monday from 7pm to 9pm. The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Atholville on Tuesday at 11:00 am.

Donations to the Cancer Society or the Campbellton Village Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family.
