James "Jimmy" Stanley Beek

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 31st, 2018 at the age of 67, James Stanley Beek of Campbellton, N.B., born in Campbellton on April 3rd, 1950, son of the late George Dalton Beek and the late Priscilla St-Coeur.

He worked as a Labourer for Multisodas Inc. (Pepsi) from 1968 to 1992. He was a hard and determined worker his whole life. He will always be remembered for his beautiful smile, his giving nature and his simplicity.

He is survived by his sisters, Sylverine Gallant of Belleville, Ontario; Ruby Beek of Pointe-à-la-Croix, Québec; Rose Beek of Campbellton, New Brunswick; Verna Boudreau of Fredericton, New Brunswick; and, Elva Beek-Wert of Lindsay, Ontario. He is also survived by 4 nieces and 6 nephews. Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Mary Jean Beek; and brother, Reginald Joseph Beek.

Visitation will be held at Maher’s Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne Street, Campbellton on Thursday, February 8th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 (NB time).

The funeral will be held at Maher’s Funeral Chapel on Friday, February 9th at 11:00 a.m. (NB time).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
