

Born in Runnymede, Que. on December 29, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Jean (Gillis) Chesser.
Janice leaves to mourn her 9 children - Wendy Deschenes (Roland), Murray (Michele), Betty Sue Prestage (Paul), Brent (Donna), Janice Mann (David), Gary, Garth (Darlene), Peter and Marlene Bremner (Scott), as well as 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by two sisters Geraldine Grey (late Bernus) and Judy Allen (Robert).
Janice enjoyed many years teaching school and in later years worked as a ward clerk at Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of the Eastern Star and Tide Head Senior Citizens.
Janice's love of music was enjoyed at many church and community events throughout the years.
The funeral service will be held at Maher's Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne Street Campbellton on Friday at 11:00am, with the Rev. Raymond Kraglund officiating.
Visitation at Maher's Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne Street Campbellton, Thursday from 2pm to 4pm, 7pm to 9pm and Friday at the Chapel one hour before the service.
Donations to the Dawsonville Cemetery or the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
Janice’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. MacDonald, Dr. Yacoub and staff of the Village Nursing Home for the wonderful care and attention she received over the last three years. Also, many thanks to Dr. Hickey, Dr. Robichaud, and staff at the Bathurst Dialysis Unit, as well as the many excellent EMT's at Ambulance NB that made her trips to Bathurst possible.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
