

Born in Mann's Mountain NB, the oldest of John MacLeod Mann and Anne Harris Mann.
Lilian will be missed by loving daughter Vickie Delaney (Joey), cherished grandchildren Jeffrey Delaney (Lorraine Geraghty), John Andrew Delaney, Ryan Delaney, Christie (Ryan) Boudreau, Great-grandchildren Brandon Delaney, twins William and Laura Delaney, cousins, nephews and nieces. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years Fulton Noye, Robinsonville NB , brothers George, Algarnon, Ronald, sisters Jeanetta, Della, Sharon, nephew Oswald Fitzgerald and Great-grandson infant Ephram Barkhouse.
Following graduation from the Andrew Street Campbellton High School 1933, she taught school in Glen Emma Que. and Upsalquitch. In 1946 she and Fulton bought Robertson’s General Store and adjoining Texaco Station in Robinsonville. Their love for the retail business, Noye’s Ltd. gradually added clothing, hardware, giftware and souvenirs. She and Vickie often travelled to Toronto for Gift Shows and to Dress Shops for the Store and the new summer Noye’s Lunchroom with her cherished staff. Canada Post outlet was added in 1990 her last endeavor with Vickie before closing the business December 1997.
She and Fulton enjoyed many winter holidays in Barbados. After his passing, she travelled to Russia, Germany, Poland, France, Hungary, Chezeslovakia, Morocco, Monaco, Australia, New Zealand, Hungary, Singapore, England, Scotland, Holland, a bus tour of Canada and the US and winters in Florida.
She was an avid cards and Bridge player and crocheted many tablecloths as gifts and for the Hospital Aid Fair.
She enjoyed her three years living at Charlene Noye’s Special Care Home and four years at the Campbellton Village Nursing Home. A very sincere thankyou to the staff of both Homes for the excellent loving care she so much enjoyed and felt at home.
She enjoyed a lifetime of a strong faith in the United Church of Canada leading groups of Explorers, CGIT and Sunday School and holding offices of UCW and St. John’s United.
She was one of the founding members of the Campbellton Business & Professional Women’s Club in
1960 and attended many Conferences of the NB and National Clubs. At a Vancouver Conference she was honoured with the BPW Woman of the year.
The family would very much like to thank all relatives and friends for the messages, acts of caring and love for them and Mum & Nan.
Due to Covid the Funeral Service will be held on May 8 and will be restricted to family.
Visitation will be held at Maher's Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne St., Campbellton, Friday May 7, 2- 4PM and all are welcome. Internment in Upsalquitch.
For those who wish remembrance may be made to St. David’s Upsalquitch, Campbellton Nursing Home or a Charity of their choice.
