Louis Nelson Mockler

Louis was born on June 21, 1942 in Dalhousie, NB to the late Nelson Mockler and the late Adrienne Belanger. He is predeceased by his brothers Donald, Douglas and Carl.

Born and raised in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, he worked for NBIP Co AKA ‘the mill’ until his retirement in 1997. Many years were spent as a member of the lion’s club. He loved his walks along the Restigouche river in Point la Nim and sharing the beach glass he collected long the way.

He is survived by his children Kirby of Berwick, NS (Janelle) and Kelly of Moncton NB (JM) as well as his only sister Betty Anne. He is also survived by his grandchildren Katie and Kalan and several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his special friend Ethel Murchie

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff at his residence, Manoir de la Sagesse as well as his medical team at the Campbellton Regional Hospital.

The self appointed Mayor of West Point la Nim has left the building.
