

The death of Myrtle Phyllis (Flanagan) Adams occurred at the Villa Renaissance in Dalhousie, New Brunswick on Sunday, 11 May 2025. Myrtle was born in Atholville, New Brunswick on 20 October 1929 to Leslie James Flanagan and Marie Angelina Gallant.
At the centre of Myrtle’s life was her family.
She is survived by one son Keith Michael and his wife Judy; three grandchildren Haley (Clint), Mark (Lindsay) and Brent (Samantha); and two great-grandsons Adam and Luke.
Myrtle was predeceased in 2017 by her loving husband Earle Alexander Adams. She was predeceased by four brothers John, Leslie, Edward and Herbert; and five sisters Sara Hunter, Muriel Dunn, Malvina Guthrie, Mildred Gilker and Viola Mahoney. Myrtle was also predeceased in 2022 by her great-granddaughter Sophie Elizabeth Green.
Throughout her entire life, Myrtle always held these five generations of family very close to her caring, nurturing heart. Well done, Myrtle! Rest now in peace!
The family of Myrtle Adams extend their heart-felt appreciation to the staff of the Villa Renaissance for the attentive and exceptional care provided during Myrtle’s residency there.
There will be no visitation nor funeral service. Myrtle will be interred with her husband of 66 years in the Campbellton Rural Cemetery.
