Myrtle (Bain) Firth

With profound sadness we announce Mrs. Myrtle Christine Firth, of Flatlands, passed away peacefully at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on November 23rd, 2022 at the age of 85, wife of the late Patrick Firth.

Born in Campbellton, NB on October 19, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Thelma (Boudreau) Bain and of the late Reid Bain of Glen Levit.

She is survived by her two sons, Vaughn (Grace) and Wendell (Debbie); four grandchildren, Devin (Lana) Firth, David Jr. (Christina) Firth, Connor & Sarah Firth; four great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Burkley, Brayslee and Dawn; her three sisters, Faye (late Glenny) Firth, Ruth (Patrice) Arseneau, and Gayle Bain, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends like Geraldine Irvine and Sandy Wade that she spoke faithfully to everyday by telephone. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son David (Donna) and grandson Dalton.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Campbellton on Friday May 19, 2023 at 11:00 am with visitations at the Funeral Home from 10:00 am until departure for the funeral.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Calugaroiu and Dr. Lepage for their outstanding care and compassion for both Myrtle and the family during her recent illness. As well as all the staff in the Emergency Room, Medical/Surgical and Palliative Units that were involved with giving Myrtle exceptional care. You all made a very difficult time a little easier for her and the family.
