Mrs. Smith was born on November 11, 1931 in Dalhousie, NB to the late Augusta Carter and the late Rose Anna (LeClair) Carter.
She is survived by nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her siblings; Harry Carter, Andy Carter, Wilson “Boone” Carter, Lucy “Lover” (Carter) Boudreau, Margaret “Git” (Carter) Morin, Elgin “Buddy” Carter and Terry Carter.
A Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
