Viola Corriveau

C’est avec grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès, à l’Hôpital Régional de Campbellton, le vendredi 31 mars 2017, à l’âge de 83 ans, Madame Viola (Vi) Corriveau de Campbellton, épouse de Roland Corriveau.

Née le 1er janvier 1934, à St-Jean NB, elle était la fille de feu Victorin et de feu Helena (Levesque) Doucet. Elle a été adoptée par feu Lionel (Coon) et de feu Emma (Arseneault) Roy.

Outre son époux, elle laisse dans le deuil ses filles, Lynne (Marc) Corriveau-Savoie de Campbellton, Lise Corriveau de Kitimat en Colombie-Britannique; ses fils, Robert (Florence) Corriveau de Grand-Sault, Gilles (Kelly ) Corriveau de Campbellton, Claude (April) Corriveau de Campbellton et sa bru Diane (feu Luc) Corriveau; ses sœurs, Rita (Eloi) Richard, Theresa Mac Kenney, et Evelyn (feu Herb) Young de St-Jean; ses petits-enfants; Réjean, Chantal, Mandy, Alexandre, Émilie, Michelle, Daniel, Emma, Alyssa, François, Gabrielle et 2 arrières petits-enfants; Jade et Aiden. Outre ses parents, elle est prédécédée par ses fils Patrick, Donald, Luc et ses sœurs Leona (feu Ronald) Garvin et Helen Doucet.

Les funérailles auront lieu à l’Église Notre Dame des Neiges de Campbellton, lundi le 3 avril à 16h00. Visite au Salon Funéraire Maher, 33, rue Lansdowne, Campbellton, dimanche de 19h00 à 21h00 et lundi de 14h00 jusqu’à l’heure des funérailles.

En mémoire de Viola, des dons à la Société du cancer ou à l’Arbre de l’espoir seraient appréciés par la famille.

Les arrangements funéraires ont été confiés aux soins du Salon Funéraire Maher de Campbellton.

Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her daughters, Lynne (Marc) Corriveau-Savoie of Campbellton, Lise Corriveau of Kitimat in British Columbia; her sons, Robert (Florence) Corriveau of Grand-Falls, Gilles (Kelly) Corriveau of Campbellton, Claude (April) Corriveau of Campbellton and her daughter-in-law Diane (late Luc) Corriveau; her sisters, Rita (Eloi) Richard, Theresa MacKenney and Evelyn (late Herb) Young of Saint-John; her grandchildren, Réjean, Chantal, Mandy, Alexandre, Émilie, Michelle, Daniel, Emma, Alyssa, François, Gabrielle, and 2 great-grandchildren, Jade and Aiden. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sons Patrick, Donald, Luc and her sisters Leona (feu Ronald) Garvin and Helen Doucet.

Funeral will be held at Our Lady of Snow’s Church in Campbellton, Monday April 3rd at 4:00 pm.

Visitations at Maher’s Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne St., Campbellton, Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Monday from 2:00 pm until time of funeral.

In memory of Viola, Donations to the Cancer Society or to the Tree of Hope would be appreciated by the family.
