of 85, Mr. Wayne Curtis of Campbellton, husband of the late Ivy (Allingham) Curtis.
Wayne was born on July 22, 1939 in Campbellton, NB to the late Bruce Curtis.
Wayne worked on the railroad for a large portion of his life, both in Campbellton NB and Toronto, ON. After raising a family in Toronto, Wayne moved back to Campbellton with his Wife Ivy, where he worked as a custodian for ASDN. Wayne loved to have family and friends over and cherished his grandchildren.
He is survived by his grandchildren Emily, Amy, and Jason O’Hearn, as well as his son-in-law, Chris O’Hearn, his sister, Patsy Curtis, and his cousin John Miller. Besides his wife and parents, Wayne was predeceased by his two daughters, Deborah (Debbie) O’Hearn and Donna Curtis, and his younger sister Peggy Curtis.
A graveside service for Wayne will be held at the Campbellton Rural Cemetery on Tuesday September 24, at 2pm.
Respecting the family’s wishes, there will be no visitations at the funeral home.
