Alice enjoyed 35 years of marriage to the love of her life, Dan, the two raised four children and after Dan passed away at the age of 59, Alice shared significantly in the raising of one of her grandchildren, her namesake, Allyce “Ally” Wilmot. Nana and Ally shared a special bond that was a privilege to bear witness.
Alice is survived by her sister, Joyce Busby of St. Clair, MI; her children, Lori Brubaker of Beaverton, MI, Patrick (LisaMarie) Lozon of St. Louis, MO, Jacqueline (Greg) Van Wey of Westminster, CO, and Brenda Wilmot of Milford, MI; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Steve) Zielinski of Kawkawlin, MI, Jeremy (Ann) Dailey of St. Johns, MI, Josh (Shannon) Van Wey of Westminster, CO, Daniel Lozon of Chapel Hill, NC, Gabrielle Lozon and Chandler Nelson of St. Louis, MO and Ally Wilmot of Milford, MI; her great-grandchildren, Alek and Branden Zielinski, Lily and AJ Dailey.
She is predeceased by her husband, Daniel R. Lozon, her brother Richard Brown, and at a very young age her brother Billy Brown.
Alice celebrated life with song, dance, and the company she kept. Her lively unique spirit will be deeply missed. The immediate family will honor Alice with a private memorial held in Carrollton, Texas where she will be laid to rest next to the love of her life.
