

Dale Owen Park died peacefully on March 17, 2021 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 96. He is now celebrating his new Home in heaven with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He loved his family, friends and his church, and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, always ready to help others.
He is survived by daughter: Kaye Arlene Brewster Park and grandchildren: Marci Jackson of Houston, Texas and Michelle Marie Brewster of Carrollton, Texas, son: Ronald Clay Park and his wife Kimberly Ann Park of Dallas, TX, brother: Dean Ross Park and his wife Shirley Ann Park of Rogers, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Ina Mae Park, parents Lowell Luther Park and Jewell Mate Park of Morris, Oklahoma.
Dale was born on June 29, 1924 in Summerfield, Oklahoma. He graduated from Red Oak High School in 1942 and Oklahoma State University in 1949 with a BS degree in Commerce. Dale served proudly in the 44th Infantry division during World War II in the European theater, receiving multiple bronze stars. After returning to civilian life, he married Ina in 1953 and began a lifelong career working for Ford Motor Company in Kansas City, Oklahoma City, and Dallas.
During his time in Dallas, he was instrumental in the creation of the North Texas Woodcarvers Guild and served as president for several years. Eventually, Dale retired and he and Ina moved to Mineola, TX where they ran a popular antique and resale shop “Park Place” for several years. Dale and Ina are now enjoying their Sundays together.
A private graveside at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date.
