She was born in Paterson, NJ to Henry and Catherine Benson on November 19, 1951 and was raised in Brooklyn, NY.
She became a Texan in 1988.
She is survived by her loved daughter Jill Glavin, her dog, Daisy, numerous nieces and cousins, dearest friends Patricia, Rubye and Carol.
She was an avid lover of animals, dogs especially and loved tending to her plants. She was most at peace on a beach. Her kind heart, dark humor, sharp wit, strength, and determination, will never be forgotten.
She was a force to be reckoned with. She will be dearly missed.
