Herb was a wonderful husband and father who deeply loved and cared for his family. He was a Christian who almost always had a smile on his face.
He graduated from UNT (North Texas State when he was there) with a degree in Marketing. Most of his career was with Xerox in various capacities, and was an expert Color Analyst with large color printers.
He is preceded in death by his father, Abraham Al Karasic and his mother Naomi Geffen Karasic.
Herb is survived by his wife, Mikki Karasic, son Samuel Karasic and daughter, Amanda Karasic Lee. He is also survived by his sisters Judy Kleiman and Sandra Karasic, nephews Darius Clark and Bishop Masters, and Niece Justine Shelton.
Our hearts are broken, but we know that we will see Herb again. A part of an old hymn says:
"I will meet you in the morning
by the bright riverside,
When all sorrow has drifted away.
I'll be standing at the portals when the gate opens wide,
At the close of life's long dreary day."
Our faith sustains us as we wait for that day.
A graveside service for Herbert will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hilltop Memorial Park, 1810 N Perry Rd., Carrollton, Texas 75006.
