Hugh Leon “Lee” Cheever, 76, of Farmers Branch, TX, passed away Thursday night, October 13, 2016, at his home. Lee was born May 1, 1940, in Cedar City, UT, the son of Hugh and Nona Cheever. Lee served our country in the United States Air Force as an Instructor Pilot in the 60s. He was a sound engineer by training and ran a business called Lee’s 4 Wheel Drive in Carrollton, TX. Lee had many hobbies including HAM radio, 4 wheeling, Society for Creative Anachronisms (SCA), Cowboy Action Shooting, archery and pistols, photography, racing cars and boats. He is survived by his wife Ann, recently celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, his son David Cheever married to Kelli Klaevemann Cheever of Keller, TX, his grand children, Aaron Cheever, Joy Cheever, & Colton Cheever. He is preceded in death by his sons Joe and Jim Cheever who are all reunited with Christ.
