Michael Allen Schneider

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Schneider who lost his battle with cancer on June 11. 2024. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, the best grandfather, and an exceptional member of his church community.

Born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin at St Agnes Hospital. Mike was the seventh child out of eight to Robert and Jessie Schneider. He graduated from Goodrich High School and went on to enlist in the Army and worked with military police from 1979 to 1982. Then he spent countless years working as a truck driver and was respected for his hard work, dedication, and expertise.

Mike met the love of his life, Cathy, and they were married for 30 wonderful years. Mike was blessed with 4 children from his previous marriage and Mike and Cathy had 2 children together. Mike was a dedicated family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. He was a man of integrity, always putting his family's needs above his own.

Mike loved being the fun grandpa to his 9 grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with his family in his free time. He was a large part of his church community where he helped cook breakfast once a month for the United Methodist Men group. He was known for his infectious laughter, kind heart, and willingness to help others.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents. Robert and Jessie, brothers, Don and Duke, sister, Vickie, son Scott, granddaughter, Brooke Renee. He is survived by his wife Cathy, his children Michael (Carla), Bobbi (Jeremy), Adam, Antonia (Miguel), Matthew, his grandchildren Brett, Andrew, Athena, Giulia, Brooke, Ashton, Gianna, Arya, his siblings Suzanne, Sandra, Bonnie, Mark, and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First United Methodist Church in The Colony or your favorite charity.

Mike will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace.
