

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Oracio Reyes on July 8, 2015. He was 50 years old. He was born on July 21, 1960 to Jose and Frances in Santa Cruz, CA. Oracio attended Watsonville High School and graduated in 1978. At a young age, he enjoyed hanging out at The Boys Club and at a more mature age, he enjoyed fishing, hanging out at the lake and talking about life. Visits to the lake were special to him and his brothers. It was a time for reflections on life and a time to meditate. Oracio was a hardworker and was well respected by his family. According to his mother, he was the best son. He can also be described as a strong willed and strong minded gentleman. Oracio loved all sports. Some of his favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers. Oracio was fun to be around. Other interests of his were the beach and the boardwalk in California, his sea doo, boats and fast cars. Oracio will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A great man gone too soon. His is survived by his mother, father, brothers; Joseph and Anthony and sister Amanda and other extended family and friends. A Visitation will be held on Sunday July 12, 2015 at Rhoton Funeral Home 1511 I-35E Carrollton, TX from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held in his honor at Mary Immaculate Church in Carrollton, TX at 10:00 am
