It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Reba Hill, who peacefully left us on March 7th, 2025, at age 86. Born on 09/20/1938 in Cyril, Oklahoma, she was the beloved daughter of Nina Mae Norris and Lawrence M. Norris. She spent her formative years surrounded by loving family. She graduated from Cyril High School and Oklahoma State University. She dedicated many years of her career as a high school teacher, where she made significant contributions to the community and made lifelong friends.
A woman of grace, wisdom, and unparalleled strength, Reba was the cornerstone of our family, guiding us with love and devotion throughout her life. Her presence brought comfort, joy, and a sense of unity that shaped the foundation of our home. As a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she created a legacy of kindness, generosity, and resilience that will continue to inspire us for generations to come.
Reba always put the needs of her family above her own. She nurtured each of us, offering encouragement and unconditional love through every stage of life. Her home was a place where all were welcome, and her door was always open to those in need of a listening ear or a warm meal.
She loved day trips to the casino with her friends, bowling, shopping, and her daily tea time. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
Reba was preceded in death by her husband Steve Hill, her parents, one brother, and her sisters. She is survived by daughters Melanie Hill Anderson (Brian), Stephanie Taylor (Jeremy), granddaughter Heather, and brothers, all of whom will carry on her legacy of love and strength.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in her memory be made to Metrocrest Services (www.metrocrestservices.org/donate-today).
