Stan Little was born January 11, 1954 to Harry Little and Darlene Hendrix Little in Effingham, Illinois. He has one sister, Leslie Meil and husband Bart of Allen. His Stepfather is Dr. Bill Springer. He Married Toni Little in 2003 and has two stepsons, Terry Price and wife Kathleen of Los Angeles, and Brian Price of Dallas. He has one nephew, Austin Meil of Dallas and one niece, Grace Meil of College Station. Stan moved from Baton Rouge to Dallas in his early 20s. Stan worked in the printing industry for 35 years, retiring in 2009. After that, he did many jobs, enjoying keeping busy. Stan ministered for 19 years in The Christmas Store at First Baptist alongside Toni. He also served as an usher for many years, making hundreds of people feel welcome with his handshake, jovial greeting and smile. Stan’s greatest joy was family. He brought his family together by planning reunions, sending birthday cards to one and all, and attending events. He loved cooking for family and friends and loved music. Stan could not carry a tune in a bucket, but always said he carried the bucket well. Stan was preceded in death by his father Harry Little when he was 13. We are confident that Stan has set his bucket down and now carries a great tune in heaven.
