He was born in Gainesville, Texas, on January 22, 1932 and grew up on a farm near Valley View, Texas, just north of Denton. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1953 with a Business degree and served in U. S. Army from 1954 – 1956 in Germany. Upon discharge, he began a forty year career with Ford Motor Company. Married to Jeanne Simmons for over sixty years. They resided in Richardson, Texas. Bill was loved by his many friends and family. He is survived by wife Jeanne, children Duke, Dana & Chris, and six grandkids.
A memorial service is planned for 11:00 AM on June 3rd at Spring Valley United Methodist Church (7700 Spring Valley Rd, Dallas, TX 75254, USA).
