CASA GRANDE - Betty J. Strickland, 79, of Casa Grande died at home on Feb. 26, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.Ms. Strickland was born on Jan. 20, 1938, in Chicago to William and Louise (Pearce) Williams. She was a cake decorator and enjoyed bowling, gardening, playing cards and doing jigsaw puzzles. She loved Elvis Presley and was an avid Diamondbacks fan. She enjoyed her cats, Gonzo and Heidi.Survivors include two daughters, Wendy Blakeman and Donna Nelson; two sons, Matt and Billy Strickland; a brother, Mike Nelson; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Billie Ringer, and a brother, Hugh Nelson.Visitation beginning at noon Friday, March 10, at J.
