Doug is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kayleen Ward, along with his four daughters; Sylvia Joanne (Ward) Bigger, Rachel Dawn (Ward) Pilgrim, Shelia Sue (Ward) Bartleson and Ashley Michelle (Ward) Frantom. He has one stepson, Kenny Curbey as well. He leaves behind 21 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents; Calvin James (Buck) Ward and Sylvia Lorena (Fields) Ward, two brothers; Gale Ward age 65 and Clifford Ward age 61.
Doug worked on the farm in Stanfield in his young life. He moved on to Hanson Pump then to Layne Western Pump Co., where he would meet his wife, Kayleen, and retire after 22 years.
Doug loved to fish, although work kept him busy. More than fishing, he loved his family. May he rest in eternal peace.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 1:00pm at J. Warren Funeral Services – Cole & Maud Gardens Chapel, 525 N. Peart Rd. Casa Grande, AZ 85122
