Celeste M. Georgini, 84, of Casa Grande died on Sept. 23, 2013, at Desert Sunshine Assisted Living in Chandler.Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10.Mrs. Georgini was born on Nov. 8, 1928, in Brazil and was a daughter of Jose and Laura Demattos. She was a homemaker and member of St. Anthony’s Church and enjoyed playing guitar, singing and cooking. A former Fulbright Scholar, she loved reading and furthering her education. She also enjoyed drinking coffee and visiting with family and friends.Survivors include a son, Joseph Rudolph "Rudy" Georgini, and two grandchildren.
