Charles Elton "Chuck" Whitney, 60, of Coolidge died Sept. 26, 2007 in Coolidge. Mr. Whitney was born March 7, 1947 in Norwalk, Ohio. He was a heavy-equipment operator and a very hard worker. He enjoyed playing practical jokes with the kids and dearly loved his family. He enjoyed spending time with them and cooking.Survivors include a daughter, Sheila Hurst of Coolidge; a son, Robert D. Whitney of Arizona City; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda, in 1997; his parents, Clarence and Betty Whitney; and a brother, Bud Whitney.No service will be held at Mr. Whitney's request.J.
